Heat pump dryers cost more to buy but use far less energy than condenser or vented models, so they're usually cheaper over their life if you dry often.

DMD Collective 3kg Mini Vented Tumble Dryer 830W Anti-Wrinkle Cool Air in Grey

Buying tumble dryers in the UK: what to check
Vented dryers need a hose to the outside; condenser and heat pump models collect water in a tank (or drain it). Compare drum size in kg and sensor drying, which stops when clothes are dry.
Measure your space, and check whether the dryer can be stacked on your washing machine with a stacking kit.

Home Appliances: frequently asked questions
›Is a heat pump tumble dryer worth it?
If you use a dryer regularly, usually yes: heat pump models use much less energy per load than condenser or vented dryers, which offsets their higher price over a few years.
