Questions from retailers
Does it cost anything?
No. Listing your products on DealComparer is free. There's no contract and you can ask us to remove your listing at any time.
Can I pay to appear higher?
No. Offers on a product page are ordered by total price including delivery, and nobody can pay to change that.
Do I need to join an affiliate network?
No. If you already work with us through Awin or CJ we use that feed. If not, your Google Shopping feed is all we need, and shoppers click straight through to your product page.
Which of my products will show?
First, products we already compare: we match them by GTIN (barcode), and you appear as another shop on that page. Products only you sell are added over time when they meet our quality rules: a clear title, a real photo, a UK price in pounds and a GTIN.
How often do you update prices?
We download your feed every day. A price we haven't been able to re-check within 3 days isn't shown as a number.
What feed format do you accept?
The Google Merchant Center product feed format: an XML (RSS or Atom) file, or a tab- or comma-separated file with Google's column names (id, title, link, price, availability, image_link, gtin, brand, shipping). Most shop platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, can produce one.
What is a CSS?
A Comparison Shopping Service places Google Shopping ads for retailers. We've applied to Google to become one. Tick the box on the form if you'd like to hear about it when it's live.
