How the indexes work

  • Baskets are comparison products only: sold by two or more UK shops, with a real photo.
  • Each product's price today is compared with its own usual price (the 60-day median) at the same shops. 100 means prices are at their usual level.
  • Asking prices at UK shops we compare, delivery included. Amazon prices and eBay listings are never included. Dates are UK dates.
  • Each index page links to its data as JSON, free to reuse with a link.
